Safety, health and welfare of all its employees, licensees, suppliers and subcontractors are of utmost importance in all of Novolen's activities.
HAZOP studies have been conducted for every Novolen process plant built worldwide in compliance with international standards, as well as local safety and environmental regulations.
Environmental risk is minimized by low hydrocarbon inventory in the Novolen process. There are no toxic or carcinogenic substances used or generated.
To date, licensee's plants using the Novolen process have been operated safely and successfully for more than 40 years, more than 1,100 reactor years or 9,000,000 operation hours.
